The opening of the high school football season has a familiar look to Pickerington Central. Just like last year, the Tigers were ranked No. 1 in the preseason Super 7 poll, only to lose to a Cincinnati-area team and fall to No. 4. A year ago it was Hilliard Davidson that took over the top spot. No such luck for the Wildcats this time.

This time, Pickerington North and Dublin Coffman have moved into the top spot. Of Central's five first-place votes in the preseason poll, three went to North and two to Coffman.

Westerville South also took advantage of the Tigers' loss to move up one spot to No. 3.

Below is the poll as selected by ThisWeekSPORTS.com writers. A unanimous selection is 77 points.
