Kilbourne will try to slow Central quarterback Jared Drake after struggling to stop Westerville South quarterback Nick Renzetti last week.
Despite the Wolves' record, they are allowing an average of only 17.3 points and scoring an average of 19.3. Central likely will stack the line of scrimmage to limit Kilbourne's running game. The Warhawks are outscoring opponents by an average of 26.3 to 13.5 points per game.
•LAST WEEK: Central was held scoreless in the second half as Scioto pulled away. Drake threw for 148 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown to Charlie Moushey, and ran for 71 yards and another touchdown. However, trailing 24-14, Drake threw an interception that was returned 35 yards for a touchdown by Nick Conner, giving Scioto a 31-14 lead.
Kilbourne was limited to 141 total yards by South. The Wildcats led 21-0 at halftime, outgaining the Wolves 363-47 in yards in the first half. Renzetti threw for 314 of his 365 yards in the first half. Prentiss added 169 yards rushing.
