League play kicked off in most central Ohio conferences in style with some rivalry games as well as some very good games.

No. 1 Dublin Coffman defeated Hilliard Davidson 33-10 in an OCC-Central game that ultimately could decide that division's title.

No. 4 Pickerington Central, coming off a bye week, struggled a bit against Lancaster before prevailing 14-10.

However, the opening of league play wasn't pleasant for all our residents in the Super 7 as No. 6 Westerville Central fell out of the poll after a 34-14 loss to Dublin Scioto.

As we head into week 2 of league play, there are a couple games catching our eyes that could impact the poll as No. 3 Westerville South will play at Hilliard Bradley, and No. 5 Hilliard Darby will be host to Dublin Jerome.
