Wednesday September 26, 2012 11:57 AM

Jerome still has a chance to be a factor in the OCC-Cardinal race if it can bounce back from its loss last week to Darby. Donovan Wilson, a Georgia Tech recruit, leads the Celtics' rushing attack, with Jake King enjoying some success in his first varsity season at quarterback. Jerome leads the series 4-0.

The Warriors are looking to snap a 40-game losing steak. North's last victory came Sept. 19, 2008, when it defeated Westerville Central 21-17. The Warriors are allowing 41.4 points per game. They matched their season high in points last week against Scioto.

•LAST WEEK — Wilson rushed for 103 yards on 33 carries against Darby, but Jerome was held to 130 total yards.

North lost to Scioto in a game that was called with 8 minutes, 37 seconds remaining because of lightning. Andy Struttmann pulled the Warriors to within 28-7 at halftime with a 2-yard touchdown run and Grant Shoemaker added a 62-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
