Grove City at Pickerington Central

The winner will remain in contention for the OCC-Ohio title, as both teams are tied with Reynoldsburg and Gahanna for second in the league behind Pickerington North (3-0).

Grove City, which is led by Cameron Meece and Corey Williams, is looking to extend its winning streak to three games while Central is looking bounce back from its most lopsided defeat since a 35-9 loss to Dublin Coffman in a Division I regional semifinal in 2007. In five games, Colby Simkins has passed for 583 yards and four touchdowns.

•LAST WEEK — Meece rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 80 yards and a touchdown against Newark. Also for the Dawgs, running back Jay Sheffield rushed for 73 yards on eight carries, Williams ran for 71 yards on 11 carries and Waddle had two catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Against North, Central had just 142 total yards and eight first downs when the benches were cleared with about two minutes remaining. The Tigers allowed 428 total yards as they lost to North for the first time in six games.
