Westland at Dublin Coffman

Westland won its opener but has lost its last six games. The Cougars are 0-5 against Coffman since 2004, with their closest loss to the Shamrocks during that time being 28-14 in 2004. In the other four games, the Shamrocks outscored Westland 224-19, an average score of 56-5.

The Cougars are led by quarterback Jalen Brown, a senior who has rushed for 1,115 yards on 172 carries (6.5 yards per carry) with seven touchdowns and has completed 55 of 132 passes for 770 yards.

Coffman quarterback James Walsh, an Ohio University recruit, has completed 86 of 134 passes for 1,375 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. Bilal Williamson leads the Shamrocks in rushing with 906 yards and 12 touchdowns on 118 carries and Austen Rankin is the team's leading receiver with 28 receptions for 450 yards and five scores.

•LAST WEEK — Westland trailed Liberty 21-0 after the first quarter and 28-0 in the second quarter until Myles Fowler scored on a 90-yard kickoff return. The Cougars trailed 35-7 at halftime and were outscored 28-0 in the second half.

Brown rushed for 128 yards on 22 carries but was only 3-for-15 passing for 40 yards.

Coffman amassed 455 total yards against Central Crossing, including 263 on the ground. Williamson rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries and Walsh was 6-for-11 passing for 184 yards and three touchdowns. The Shamrocks' defense limited Central Crossing to 145 total yards, including 19 yards rushing on 36 carries.
