The Newark Catholic High School football team remained atop the MSL-Ohio Division with a 41-6 victory over Whitehall on Oct. 12 at Gahanna.
It was the final home game for Whitehall, which is playing its home games at neutral sites because of a renovation project at the high school.
The Green Wave have won seven in a row to improve to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the league. Newark Catholic’s lone setback was 34-20 to Ready in the opener Aug. 25.
Whitehall fell to 2-6 overall and 1-4 in the league.

Senior running back Isaiah Turner led the Rams, rushing for 119 yards on 28 carries.
Whitehall sophomore quarterback Tristen Ritchie capped a 97-yard drive in the fourth quarter with a 9-yard touchdown run with 2 minutes, 24 seconds left.
