Olentangy Orange at Big Walnut

Orange is 0-4 all-time against Big Walnut, having lost 28-7 in 2008, 31-13 in 2009, 23-21 in 2010 and 35-34 last season.

The Pioneers lost their first three OCC-Capital games but have returned to their winning ways, defeating Delaware on Oct. 5 and Franklin Heights on Oct. 12. Big Walnut is looking to rebound from its loss to New Albany on Oct. 12. The loss snapped the Golden Eagles' three-game winning streak.

Last season, Orange, Big Walnut and New Albany shared the OCC-Capital title, as all three went 6-1 in league play.

*LAST WEEK -- Orange led Franklin Heights 21-13 at halftime but pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Falcons 28-0 in the final two quarters.

Larry Rode scored on touchdown runs of 69, 59 and 50 yards and Triston Richardson scored on runs of 65 and 35 yards. Jake Stier scored on a 22-yard run and threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Jarrod Gilliam. Mitch Hopkins was 7-for-7 on extra-point attempts.

Big Walnut trailed New Albany 10-0 at halftime and allowed 423 total yards while being held to 149 total yards. Carson Chatterton rushed for 68 yards on 12 carries to lead the Golden Eagles, who scored their only points on a 1-yard run by Alex Clark.
