Westerville South at Dublin Jerome

Westerville South has one of the area's most potent offenses. The Wildcats, who employ a spread attack, are averaging 37.5 points and have been held to fewer than 28 points only once, in a 28-14 loss to Darby on Oct. 5.

Nick Renzetti has completed 159 of 270 passes for 2,492 yards. His primary targets are Jalen Bell, who has 55 receptions for 884 yards and 13 touchdowns, and Marcus Ball, who has 40 catches for 587 yards.

Noah Prentiss is the Wildcats' leading rusher with 882 yards on 140 carries.

Jerome's offense centers around Donovan Wilson, who has rushed for 1,474 yards on 264 carries and has scored 21 touchdowns.

•LAST WEEK — South trailed Westerville Central 28-21 at halftime but outscored the Warhawks 29-0 in the second half to post a 50-28 victory Oct. 12 and snap its two-game losing streak.

Renzetti led the comeback, completing 17 of 32 passes for 412 yards and six touchdowns. Ball had seven catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns and Bell had four catches for 131 yards and two scores. Prentiss rushed for 127 yards on 28 carries.

Wilson led Jerome to its overtime win over Kilbourne, rushing for 191 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.

The Wolves had the first possession in overtime and took a 17-14 lead on a 29-yard field goal by Jon Watson, but the Celtics answered with a 9-yard touchdown run by Wilson to pull out the victory.

Jake King threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Erik Harlock in the second quarter.
