The football team is 2-2 and plays the Columbus Crusaders on Friday, Sept. 27, at Thomas Worthington.
The Crusaders are 1-3 after losing to Dayton Meadowdale 26-6 on Sept. 20.
St. Charles lost to Hartley 20-7 on Sept. 20, as the Hawks totaled 401 yards to the Cardinals' 122.
Hartley recovered a St. Charles fumble with 6 minutes, 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter on the Hawks' 37-yard line to seal the victory.
"I fully expect (Hartley) to compete for the Division V state title," coach Jeff Pharion said. "That being said, our defense should not be giving up two touchdowns and two field goals."
Senior running back John Quinn had a 1-yard touchdown run and 13 tackles at linebacker. Senior linebacker George Sims had 11 tackles, sophomore linebacker Otis Smith had nine tackles and senior defensive back Ben Hale had eight tackles.
Junior NiQuille Bell had two carries for 57 yards and senior Michael Hamrock had 30 yards on three rushes. Jacob Moehrman was 4-for-6 passing for 19 yards with one interception and rushed for 17 yards on seven carries.
