Upper Arlington residents Margaret Bradshaw and Xan Palay have been hired at Mills James.

Upper Arlington residents Margaret Bradshaw and Xan Palay have been hired at Mills James.

Bradshaw was named a production assistant as part of the firm's corporate meetings and live events team. She will provide logistics and production support for clients' corporate meetings and live events.

Bradshaw holds a bachelor of arts degree in music and communications from Valparaiso University.

Palay was hired as a production assistant in the video and broadcast department. She will provide support for the firm's clients and account managers through the planning and execution of projects.

She is also an accomplished artist, having received various fellowships and awards.

Palay holds a master of fine arts degree from Bard College and a bachelor of fine arts degree from Ohio State University.

Layne Peters of Upper Arlington has been promoted to senior art director at Salvato Coe + Gabor, a Columbus-based strategic design and branding firm.

In this role, Peters will take on project management and planning responsibilities for a variety of the firm's clients. He will develop brand identity programs, corporate reports and Web sites, and will oversee the work of the firm's designers.

Peters holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
