Introduction to fencing for youth entering grades 4-8 will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 28-31 at Upper Arlington High School. Participants will learn the fundamentals of foil fencing, from rules to techniques. Cost is $56 for residents.

A Multi-Sport Camp for ages 3-4 and 4-7 will be held July 28-31 at the Thompson Park south shelter. Skyhawk Sports will offer Tiny Hawks for ages 3-4 from 4 to 5 p.m. Cost is $55 for residents. Mini Hawks for ages 4-7 will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $85 for residents.

CSI: Mad Science, a program for children age 5-12 to learn some crime-solving techniques used by detectives, will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 4-8 at Thompson Park south shelter. Cost is $182 for residents.

My Garden Mad Science will meet from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 5-8 at Thompson Park South Shelter. Children age 3-5 will learn about soil and seeds, wind and rain, plants and leaves and more about plants and gardening. Cost is $156 for residents.

Children age 4-6 are invited for some "Good Messy Fun" from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 11-14 at the Fancyburg Park Shelter House. Children will explore creativity; dress for a mess. Cost is $50 for residents.

"Superheroes" is a drama program for children age 4-6 that meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1-14 at Thompson Park South Shelter. Each session ends with a 10-minute show for parents. Cost is $42 for residents.

The Upper Arlington Shuffleboard Club will is now playing Tuesday afternoons, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons at Fancyburg Park. Call Dave Stutz at 268-6896 for more information.
