An employee of Macy's, 3180 Kingsdale Center, reported someone stole designer clothes valued at $750.

Sean M. Weisand of 609 Adams St., Dresden, Ohio, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

Luciano B. Pellegrino of 5954 Gina Place was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

A resident of the 1700 block of Elmwood Avenue reported someone stole $30 from his unlocked vehicle.

An employee of Speedway, 3616 Riverside Drive, reported the theft of cigars valued at $72.40.

An employee of Blockbuster Video, 1700 Zollinger Road, reported two male suspects stole Blu-ray discs valued at $439.86.

An employee of Speedway, 1430 Lane Ave., reported the theft of two energy drinks.

July 22

A resident of the 1600 block of Essex Road reported the theft of his wallet from the glove compartment of his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. A bicycle was also stolen.

A resident of the 1500 block of Guilford Road reported the theft of her car.

6:45 p.m. July 27, in the 3200 block of Cairngorm Drive: Police reported a man was attacked, sustaining three slashes to his face. Witnesses pulled off his attacker, who then fled.

Between 2 and 8 a.m. July 26, in the 2000 block of Park Run Drive: A woman reported the theft of her $8,500 Jeep Liberty. Down the block at about the same time, a resident said someone broke into his 1996 Olds Cutlass and broke open the steering column in an attempt to steal it.

9:30 a.m. July 21, in the 2800 block of Bethel Road: A woman reported her son was attacked by a youth who hit him in the face.

Between 11 p.m. July 17 and 8 a.m. July 18, in the 5400 block of Bennington Woods Court: A woman reported July 25 that someone stole a $200 evergreen tree from her yard and damaged a $10 pole.

Thefts from or vandalism to autos were reported from: the 900 block of Old Henderson Road, the 5200 block of Ruthton Road, the 4200 block of Savannah Grove Lane and the lot of Antrim Park.
