It's not too early, and it's definitely not too late, to make reservations to attend the Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting, to be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at Hastings Middle School.

This year's event will have a new twist -- a business expo -- and will introduce a 12-minute video still under production that celebrates the quality of life in Upper Arlington.

The meal will be by Stevens Catering.

The business expo will run from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner, the presentation of awards and the debut showing of the video, which chamber president Becky Hajost described as "a timeless piece -- a wonderful marketing piece -- featuring the best of the best in Upper Arlington."

Space for expo participants is limited, so spaces should be reserved as early as possible. Interested exhibitors can find an application online at www.uachamber.org. Cost is $120 for a 6-foot display space.

Also online, members can find nominations for awards to be presented Jan. 31. Categories are Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Best Places To Work, the Jeanne E. Schaal Outstanding Contributing Member and the W. Arthur Cullman Business Person of the Year.

Tickets for the annual dinner are $50 per person and are due a week before the event. Reservations may be made online or by calling the chamber at (614) 481-5710. Admission to the business expo is free.

Anthem is the presenting sponsor. Platinum sponsors are the Upper Arlington Community Improvement Corporation and ThisWeek Community Newspapers. Silver sponsors are Argo & Lehne Jewelers, the Forum at Knightsbridge and Hilton Garden Inn.
