Registration for "Camp Once in Awhile," to be held June 8 through Aug. 14 at the Reed Road Park Shelter House, is under way. The department offers the program for parents who need partial drop-in daycare, providing supervision for children ages 6-12 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Participants must bring a packed lunch and snack if attending over lunch hour. Beverages are provided. A $50 resident ($60 non-resident) non-refundable registration fee, $35 swimming fee and $150 non-refundable punch card are required at the time of registration. Camp fees are $5 per hour and are paid with $150 punch cards. For registration forms or more information, call 583-5300.

Registration for "Summer Day Camp" has begun. The camp operates from 7:15 a.m. until 6 p.m. weekdays at Thompson Park North Shelter House or Barrington Elementary School, June 8 through Aug. 14. Participants must bring a packed lunch and afternoon snack daily. Beverages are provided. The program is staffed at a ratio of 15:1. A $50 resident ($60 non-resident) non-refundable registration fee, $35 swimming participation fee and $140 punch pass purchase for the first five camp days are required at registration. Camp fees of $28 per day or $140 per week will be paid by the punch pass after the initial five days. For registration forms or more information, call 583-5300.

"Cooking with Ellen Moretti," for grades 1-5, meets from 3:15 to 4:15 pm. Monday, March 9, at Moretti's Restaurant in Tremont Center. Children will receive step-by-step instruction an entre and dessert to share with the family. They also learn basic kitchen skills. Notification must be made at least one week in advance of any allergies. Cost is $26 resident, $29 non-resident.

"The Luck of the Irish," for ages 2-4, will meet from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Senior Center, 1945 Ridgeview Road. Activities include a leprechaun hunt, painting, stories and a search for four-leaf clovers. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $13 resident, $14 non-resident. Pre-registration is required.

"Glenda's Gigglers," for children ages 6-11, is held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Huffman's Market in Tremont Center. The theme will be "Easter Surprises." Participants will create a treat in class and take home a kit to re-create it for the family. Cost is $26 resident, $29 non-resident.

"Spring Break Day Camp," for youth ages 6-12, will be held from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 20-27 (spring break for Upper Arlington schools). Activities include crafts, games, quiet recreation, movies, library visits and field trips. Staff ratio is about 15:1. Participants should bring a packed lunch and afternoon snack; beverages are provided. Initial registration is $20 for a resident family or $25 for a non-resident family. Fees are $27 a day and are non-refundable. Full payment is due at registration. Call 583-5300 to receive a registration packet.

Sixth- through twelfth-graders are invited to head to Splatterpark for a day of paintball games, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 3. Wear camouflage over street clothes and bring a change of shoes. Cost is $56 resident, $62 non-resident. The deadline to register is March 27. The group will meet in the Municipal Services Center front parking lot.
