The best advice Greg has for purchasing a toy is to make sure the toy is age-appropriate.

"If a toy is too advanced for the child they become frustrated," he says.

Buying "open-ended toys" encourages children to become creative. For example, a basic good set of wooden blocks is something that a child can grow with and be passed down for generations. At one age a child may begin to stack the blocks and then at a further advanced stage he or she may create a village and so on.

Greg has watched many of his clientele grow up and become parents themselves. He prides himself on knowing his customers.

Larsons carries a variety of toys and games and also offers free gift-wrapping.

Greg states the UA Area Chamber plays a big role in the community. By participating in events and utilizing the chamber, the more contacts, networking and exposure you get. Whenever possible Greg does business with chamber members and has a strong sense of community in Upper Arlington.
