Former Ohio State Buckeyes tight end Rory Nicol was on hand to greet fans and sign autographs at the 56th annual Tremont Center April Fools Celebration on Saturday, April 4. The meet-and-greet was sponsored and hosted by Tremont Center merchants Chuck & Barb's Baseball Cards at 2158 Tremont Center in Upper Arlington.

A three-year starter for the nationally ranked Buckeyes, Nicol recently completed his senior season, earning 2008 All-Big Ten Conference Honorable Mention accolades. He is projected as a late-round pick in the upcoming National Football League Draft.

The April Fools Celebration, which took place in the Tremont Center parking lot, featured a free pancake breakfast and other fun family entertainment open to the public.

This year's celebration included Chris Cakes' Amazing Flying Pancakes, free coffee and donuts, a petting zoo with local farm animals, entertainment by Luke the Juggler, and prizes included a flat-screen TV, iPod, kids' bikes and merchant gift certificates.
