The Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for adults and kids to volunteer for this year's Taste of UA, Tuesday, August 11 at Northam Park.

Volunteers are needed to work in scheduled shifts between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Those who are interested should call the chamber office at 614-481-5710.

The volunteer registration begins immediately.

"Besides counting on some loyal UA adult volunteers to help, this is a great opportunity for students to earn their public service hours," said Upper Arlington Area chamber membership development director Karen Hamilton. "All volunteers re-ceive a free Taste of UA T-shirt. We're counting on our volunteers to help in a variety of ways. It should be lots of fun for them."

Volunteers will be working with adult supervision, and will be expected to help with setting up and tearing down tables and booths, picking up trash and greeting Taste of UA patrons.

The Taste of UA is a refreshing blend of area restaurants, businesses and residents.

Mix this with children's activities and celebrity and people's choice awards for a feast guaranteed to satisfy all vendors and more than 12,000 attendees.

The goal of the Taste of UA is to celebrate our local area businesses while providing a fun, family event for our community.

Attendees get a sample of authentic Upper Arlington-area restaurants, businesses. and services.
