The "ESOL Book Club" meets at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays. Nancy Brown leads a discussion of "Albert Einstein: A Photographic Story of a Life" by Frieda Wishinsky. Non-native speakers of English are welcome. Session runs through Nov. 12.

Patrons can "Read Down Fines" at any UAPL location at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Arrive promptly with reading material in hand, read for one hour and receive up to $8 off existing overdue fines.

"English Conversation Class" meets at 9:30 a.m. Mondays through Nov. 30. Practice English with instructor Nancy Brown and other ESOL students.

Students in grades 3-6 can join the "UAPLay Video Game Club" and compete at 3:30 p.m. each Monday at a variety of different games on the big screen to be the "UAPLayer of the Month." Free tickets are required and are available the day of the program. Session runs through Oct. 12.

Children ages 3-6 can ask "What's That Sign?" at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. Stop in for stories, songs and crafts to learn about the signs seen in neighborhoods every day.

"Fall Storytime I" runs through Oct. 8. "Babytime," for infants to age 2, meets at 9:30 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays. "Tales for Twos and Threes" meets at 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays. "Preschool Storytime" meets at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and 10:30 a.m. Thursdays. "Evening Storytime" meets at 7 p.m. Mondays. No registration is required.

A new season of "Let's Speak English" begins Monday, Oct. 5. Groups meet at 1 or 6:30 p.m. ESOL students can study English with experienced tutors in this weekly class.
