As a follow-up to the Business Plan competition at Upper Arlington High School, four UAHS juniors were invited to participate in the 37th Annual Entrepreneurial Challenge on Feb. 26, held at Columbus State Community College sponsored by the Columbus Kiwanis Club.

Students in attendance were: Anna Cadwallader, Andrew Pottschmidt, Collin Stewart and Thomas Young. The purpose of this activity was to engage the students in an interactive program to help them develop the necessary skills needed to start and run a business.

These students were paired up with other students from central Ohio to brainstorm ideas for a product that does not already exist on the market. They had to build a prototype, develop a marketing plan, and create and deliver their presentation to an auditorium of about 100 students and 15 judges.

Pottschmidt was part of the second-place team and Cadwallader was a part of the third-place team.
