The annual Hennen's American Public Library Ratings (HAPLR) Index has just been released and the Upper Arlington Public Library is ranked No. 2 out of the 952 libraries in its population category.

The annual Hennen's American Public Library Ratings (HAPLR) Index has just been released and the Upper Arlington Public Library is ranked No. 2 out of the 952 libraries in its population category.

This marks the seventh time in 10 years that the UAPL has appeared in the top 10.

The HAPLR Index analyzes 15 factors, with focus on circulation, staffing, materials, reference service and funding levels.

Ohio's libraries had the highest average HAPLR score of any state, according to a news release from the Upper Arlington Public Library.
