The Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for adults and kids to volunteer for this year's Taste of UA, Aug. 5 at Northam Park.

Volunteers are needed to work in scheduled shifts between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Those who are interested should contact the Chamber at 614-481-5710 or admin@uachamber.org.

This is a great opportunity for students to earn their public service hours, and all volunteers receive a free Taste of UA T-shirt. There are a variety of ways to help out, and it should be a lot of fun for volunteers.

Volunteers will be working with adult supervision, and will be expected to help with setting up and tearing down tables and booths, picking up trash and greeting Taste of UA patrons.

The Taste of UA is a refreshing blend of area restaurants, businesses and residents. Mix this with children's activities, rides and celebrity judges and people's choice awards for a feast guaranteed to satisfy all. Historically this has included over 140 vendors and over 12,000 attendees.

The goal of the Taste of UA is to celebrate our local businesses while providing a fun family event for our community. Attendees get a sample of authentic Upper Arlington area restaurants, businesses and services.
