Kim and Tina Elsea met in high school and have been married for 34 years. They have two grown children and three grandchildren and have worked together since 1976.

Kim describes Cafe DaVinci's as a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere. They have been UA chamber members since opening.

"One of the most important benefits of being a chamber member is a sense of community," Kim said, "and many of our customers are chamber members."

DaVinci's has participated in the Taste of UA from the very beginning and over the years has won several awards in every category. It's a tradition that lasagna is served every year at the Taste and this year will be no exception. The restaurant also features a wide variety of Gelato, an Italian ice cream made with milk, not cream. The latest flavor being introduced is Chocolate Basil.

I had the pleasure of tasting a sample and must say it is delicious.

The restaurant is currently working on new menu items.

Look for their booth at the Taste of UA or stop by the restaurant located at the corner of Tremont and Zollinger. It's a piece of Italy in the heart of UA.
