The Upper Arlington Police Department is investigating an apparent double murder-suicide that occurred around 7:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26.

According to police, Sarah Geller, of 1759 Doone Road, came home from a trip Sunday to find her husband, Troy, 35, and sons Solomon, 8, and Samson, 6, dead.

The two boys were shot multiple times in the head and chest, according to the Franklin County Coroner Jan Gorniak.

Troy Geller died of a gunshot wound to the head.

"I will shield S&S from a life filled with confusion, questioned allegiances, guilt, hopelessness, co-dependence and insecurity," Geller said, in part, in a suicide note found at the home.

Officer Heather Galli, spokesperson for the UAPD, said the situation currently is under investigation.

"Right now, we are still investigating it as an apparent murder-suicide," Galli said.

Barrington Elementary, where the two children attended, brought in counselors to help the Gellers' classmates.

Troy Geller was a "stay-at-home dad." Sarah Geller is a licensed pharmacist, as was her husband.
