In addition to providing members a chance to affect the direction of the Chamber, committees are an ideal way to network and develop leadership skills. Chamber committees also develop programs to increase member benefits, provide education, attract new members, enhance the local business climate and improve the organization's financial strength. "These are difficult times in our economy and we need to be certain we have the very best people in place to carry us forward. Through collaboration and purposeful decision making along with a long term perspective and understanding of the past, we will continue to excel as a community."

- Becky Hajost, president of Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce
