Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 27, the Columbus Division of Police will start issuing warning letters to motorists caught running the red light at Olentangy River Road and Henderson Road. It is the latest intersection to have photo red-light technology installed.

Motorists committing an infraction at this intersection will receive warning letters for 30 days, after which a notice of liability and a fine of $95 will be issued. The notice of liability will begin at 12:01 a.m. Oct. 27.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down for the yellow light so they can stop safely for the red light, police said.
