UA police seek identity of bank robber

The Upper Arlington Police Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the Fifth Third Bank, 2081 W. Henderson Road, on Friday, June 29.

According to a release from the department, a man entered the bank at approximately 3:30 p.m., approached the counter and demanded money from the teller. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white, in his mid-30s to 40s. He is 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall with a heavy build and short dark hair. He was wearing jeans, a light blue T-shirt and a dark face mask.

He appeared to be wearing a ring on his left ring finger and carried a light-colored bag and/or pillowcase.

No one was injured during the incident.
