* According to Upper Arlington Police Division reports, a burglary occurred at a residence in the 1400 block of Fishinger Road between 6:30 p.m. July 27 and 2:30 a.m. July 28. Broken glass was found by the east entrance to the house, and a small potted plant had been knocked over. A screen door, said to have been unlocked, was found open, but no items were reported missing.

* A moped, valued at $400, was reported stolen from the 3000 block of Northwest Boulevard between 3:40 and 11:30 p.m. July 28.

* Various CDs were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2700 block of Fairfax Drive between 11:30 p.m. July 23 and 7:30 a.m. July 24. A neighbor's car also had been rummaged through in a similar fashion, but nothing was stolen.

* Breaking and entering occurred at a business in the 3700 block of Riverside Drive between 11:30 p.m. July 26 and 10:45 a.m. July 27, according to reports. A laptop computer valued at $400 and about $7 in coins were stolen.

* Around $150 worth of stereo equipment was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Kentwell Road between 6 p.m. July 22 and 8 a.m. July 23.

* Police responded to reports of an emotionally disturbed person in the 3300 block of Kirkham Road between 2 and 2:39 p.m. July 28. The individual was reported to have been intoxicated and threatening to harm himself. Officers observed the individual on a front lawn burning a United States flag and found he had also broken the driver's-side window of his vehicle. When the individual refused to go to the hospital, the officers completed an application for emergency admission and took him there.

* A suspect described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s with a thin build and wearing a tan baseball hat and gray shirt threw an object or struck the rear passenger-side window of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of West Lane Avenue at 12:33 p.m. July 29 while riding a bicycle. The damage, including broken glass, is estimated to be $300.

* A vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Hastings Lane was broken into between 2:30 and 4:44 p.m. July 29, and a purse containing a number of credit cards was stolen. The purse had been left under the driver's seat.

* A vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Fountaine Drive between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. July 27 was vandalized.

* A resident of the 2200 block of Jervis Road reported a fraudulent charge on his credit card July 24. The illegal charge amounted to nearly $640.
