Upper Arlington police reports

A Brixton Road man reported money and "negotiable instruments" valued at a total of $100 were stolen from his vehicle.

Sept. 23

* A Langport Road woman reported a man has been selling advertising space to her publication without authorization. He reportedly received payments for the ads but did not provide a service. Total loss to victims was listed as $740.

* A Canterbury Road man reported someone entered his vehicle through a damaged window and stole money, a speaker amplifier and a messenger bag. Total loss was listed as $200.

* A Brixton Road man reported money and "negotiable instruments" valued at a total of $100 were stolen from his vehicle.

* A York Road woman reported a portable DVD player valued at $50 was stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

* A Kioka Avenue woman reported her vehicle was stolen; she told police she left the keys inside it. The vehicle later was recovered in the city, but the stereo had been stolen. Loss was listed as $1,000.

* An Abington Road resident reported the theft of a vehicle which had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

* A man, no address provided, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Harwitch Road.

Sept. 22

* Police responded to multiple reports of thefts from motor vehicles in the 2600 block of Wexford Road. Items stolen included loose change, two global-positioning system devices and a satellite radio receiver.

* Two Abington Road residents reported someone entered their vehicles and stole money, a computer and personal papers.

* An Abington Road woman reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole purses, jewelry, money, vehicle parts and "other property." Total loss was listed as $1,468.

* A Chiselhurst Place man reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole $240 in "other property."

* Police received a report that an unknown person drove over a bike on Carriage Hill Lane and spray painted it and portions of the street with orange paint. The suspect also reportedly spray painted a "large penis" on the roadway with the initials "CK" next to it.

* A Columbus man was arrested at his residence on a warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

Sept. 21

* An Upper Arlington Schools official brought two bicycles to police that had been left in a bike rack at Jones Middle School.

* A Columbus resident, gender not specified, was arrested on a warrant from Columbus after police responded to a report of an attempted scam at a West Lane Avenue mobile telephone store.

* A man, no address provided, reported someone forced entry to his vehicle while it was parked in the 3700 block of Riverside Drive and stole a raincoat. Total loss and damages were listed as $1,100.

* A Chester Road man reported the theft of his vehicle. It was recovered after being abandoned in the 2800 block of Brandon Road.

Sept. 20

* A Westmont Boulevard man reported a GPS device valued at $130 was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

* A Westmont Boulevard man reported two deactivated cell phones and money were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Loss was listed at $5.

* A Westmont Boulevard woman reported a wallet, credit cards and $10 cash were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

* A Vassar Place man reported his unlocked vehicle, which had keys inside, was stolen. He also reported his wife's vehicle was entered and had a strong smell of cigarettes inside it.

* A Coventry Road woman reported someone entered two of her unlocked vehicles and stole a GPS device and money. Total loss was listed as $270.

* A Coventry Road man reported credit cards were stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

* A Westminster Drive man reported his wallet and contents were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $23.

* A man, no address provided, reported someone forced entry to his vehicle and stole a backpack, wallet and money. Total loss was listed as $720.

* A woman, no address provided, reported someone forced entry to her vehicle while it was parked in the 4700 block of Reed Road and stole her wallet.

* A man, no address provided, was arrested on two warrants from Franklin County for forgery and possession of criminal tools following a stop for no front tag in the 3200 block of Tremont Road.

* A woman, no address provided, reported a cell phone was taken from the front seat of her vehicle while it was at a gasoline pump in the 1400 block of West lane Avenue. Loss was listed at $20.

* A Wenbury Road woman reported someone forced entry to her vehicle and stole a bag containing a journal and prescription medications.

* A Coventry Road man reported two unknown males entered his unsecured garage and stole a laptop computer valued at $2,000.

Sept. 19

* Employees at a Kingsdale Center department store reported a woman stole clothes valued at $73. She was described as being in her early 30s, white, 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. She also appeared to be pregnant.

* A Collingswood Road woman reported an iPod and cell phone case were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $315.

* A West Henderson Road man reported someone forced entry to his vehicle and stole a Think Pad. Total loss and damages were listed as $1,950.

* A Collingswood Road woman reported a cell phone and money were taken from her unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $63.

* An Arlington Avenue woman reported money, gift cards, a driver's license and an insurance card were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $53.

* A woman, no address provided, reported someone forced entry to her vehicle while it was parked at a restaurant in the 4700 block of Reed Road and stole two backpacks, two laptop computers, college books and a passport. Total loss was listed as $2,400.

Sept. 18

* A Coach Road couple reported they returned from vacation to find their home had been burglarized and vandalized. Jewelry, a checkbook and "other property" valued at $780 were taken and food from the refrigerator was scattered it throughout the home. In addition, furniture was cut with knives and wall fixtures were spray painted.

* Two Harwitch Road residents reported someone entered their vehicles, but nothing was taken. One of the vehicles was entered by force and the other was unlocked, police reports said.

* A Welsford Road man reported a checkbook, gift cards, two pairs of sunglasses and a deactivated iPhone were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $516.

* An Andover Road woman reported someone entered her unsecured garage and took money and a GPS device from two vehicles. Loss was listed as $225.

* A Tremont Road woman reported money, a GPS device and gift cards were taken from her unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $443.

* A Harwitch Road man reported his vehicle was stolen.

* Police received a report that five doses of Adderall were found at Upper Arlington High School.

Sept. 17

* Police received a report that approximately 7.7 grams of marijuana were found at Upper Arlington High School.

* Three Reed Road residents reported someone forced entry to their vehicles and stole a purse, two laptop computers, credit cards and a computer bag. Total loss was listed as $5,165.

Sept. 16

* A Charing Road woman reported a GPS device valued at $50 was taken from her unlocked vehicle.

* An Asbury Road man reported four bicycles, money, tools and two child seats for bikes were stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Total loss was listed as $3,580.

* A man, no address provided, was charged with OVI , OVI per se and a marked lanes violation following a stop on Reed Road.

* A Jervis Road man reported a GPS device valued at $200 was taken from his unlocked vehicle.

* An Exmoor Road man reported the theft of three motorbikes valued at a total of $7,000. The motorbikes were recovered a day later near the intersection of Abington and Charing roads.

* A woman, no address provided, was charged with OVI, OVI per se and a marked lanes violation following a stop on Riverside Drive.

Sept. 14

* A sorority organization reported the theft of a fountain pump from the 3200 block of Riverside Drive. Loss was listed as $800.

* A city employee reported a restroom at Northam Park was vandalized. Loss was listed as $75.

* An Onandaga Drive woman reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle in her unsecured garage and stole a check from written for $76.50.

* A member of a Northam Road church reported someone poured syrup and cereal on playground equipment and damaged the pagoda and an art piece in a garden.

* An Elginfield Road woman reported someone entered her unsecured garage and stole a snow blower, as well as a purse, money and credit cards from her vehicle. Total loss was listed as $2,100.
