Following a stop Feb. 27 for a "routine registration check" at the intersection of Kenny and Ackerman roads, a woman was charged failure to reinstate, no operator's license and driving under suspension for a previous OVI offense.

In other police reports:

* After allegedly attempting to steal $600 worth of purses from a store in the 3100 block of Kingsdale Center, a woman was charged Feb. 26 with theft, receiving stolen property, possession of criminal tools, failure to reinstate, driving under suspension, no operator's license and failure to comply.

* An iPod, a stethoscope and a prescription pad valued at a total of $351 were reported stolen Feb. 25 from an unlocked vehicle in the 2500 block of Chartwell Road.
