Clintonville Woman's Club Luncheon and Spring Style Show, "Sail into Summer," 11:30 a.m. May 3. Event is sponsored by the CWC Handcraft Interest Group. The menu will include salmon and chicken, garden rice pilaf, vegetable medley, fruit salad and an ice cream dessert. Coldwater Creek will share fashions, moderated by a representative from the Polaris Fashion Place store. Tickets are $20 each. Reservations should be made with Betty Daniel at 614-267-1924.

American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, Spring Tea, noon to 4 p.m. May 4 at the shop in the Kenny Centre Mall. There will be a strolling fashion show, entertainment and refreshments. The event will feature vintage accessories, freshly ironed linens and hats. All proceeds benefit cancer research and programs. For more information call 614-457-4227.

Sierra Club and Aveda, Rock for Water fundraiser, 7 p.m. May 4 at the Woodlands Backyard, 668 Grandview Ave. Guests Fresh Wreckage, William Reach and Far Away Strays will provide live music. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Ohio Sierra Club's Clean Water Campaign.

Women's Auxiliary Council of Nationwide Children's Hospital, informational dessert and coffee event for prospective members, 6:30 p.m. May 7 at Brookside Golf and Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Road. Members of each auxiliary will give a brief overview of their organization and answer questions. Columbus School for Girls, Prospective Parent Coffees, 10:30 a.m. May 8 and 9 in the Alumnae Living Room, 56 S. Columbia Ave., Bexley. The first event is for parents of girls age 3 to grade 5, entering CSG's Program for Young Children and Lower School. The second coffee is for parents of girls entering grades 6-12, CSG's Middle School or Upper School. Attendees will meet with school division leaders, view classes in session and visit CSG's new Wellness and Athletics Complex. Columbus Spring Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 at St. Agatha's Parish Hall, 1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington. Items include screen printed Columbus pride wear, antique jewelry repurposed into new accessories, handmade pizza cutters and wine bottle lights. Admission is $3, free for children under age 12.
