* Students in grades 3-6 can join Caitlin McGurk from the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum for a "One-Sheet Comic Workshop" at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4. Registation is required.

* The library's "From Book to Screen Film Series" continues at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, with a showing of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law.

* Drop in to make a "Mother's Day Craft" anytime Wednesday, May 8. Supplies will be available to create a tulip card for a mother, grandmother or other special person. For grades 3-6.

* Hear a story and build a related creation at "LEGO Lit" at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 9. Registration is required for this program offered to grades K-4.
