Upper Arlington: Windows reported smashed on 6 vehicles

Upper Arlington police are investigating several reports of windows being broken out of vehicles.

A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Mount Holyoke Road between 6:30 p.m. July 13 and 9 a.m. July 14. Entry was gained by breaking out a rear window, police reports said.

A woman in the 2800 block of Chateau Circle reported someone broke out a window to her vehicle while it was parked in her carport between 6 p.m. July 13 and noon July 14.

The rear windows of two vehicles parked in the 3100 block of Tremont Road were broken out between 10 p.m. July 13 and 10:30 a.m. July 14.

A Columbus man reported a rock was thrown through a window to his vehicle while it was parked in the 2300 block of Haviland Road between 10 and 11:17 p.m. July 12. Damage was listed at $300.

A window to a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of West Lane Avenue was broken out between 8:30 p.m. July 7 and 5:45 a.m. July 8.

In other Upper Arlington police reports:

* A bicycle valued at $450 was reported stolen from a man's garage in the 4800 block of Mannboro Drive between 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. July 13.

* A bicycle valued at $719 was reported stolen from the driveway of a home in the 2900 block of Welsford Road between 1 and 4:10 p.m. July 9.

* A radio valued at $120 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4500 block of Arlingate Drive West between 11:30 p.m. July 9 and 9 a.m. July 10.

* A rental golf cart was reported stolen from the 2700 block of Mount Holyoke Road between 11 p.m. July 4 and 9 a.m. July 5.

* Two vending machines valued at a total of $400 were pushed over by the south shelterhouse at Thompson Park between 10:30 a.m. July 8 and 1:43 p.m. July 9.
