Reorganized quilt group looks to grow

The Meandering Quilters, a newly reorganized quilting group that has donated an average of 50 quilts a year to local organizations, will host an open house for interested quilters from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at CompuSuites, 5000 Arlington Centre Blvd., Upper Arlington.

The Meandering Quilters meet on the second Saturday of each month to work on projects. Past recipients of the group's quilts and monetary donations include ARC Industries, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Godman Guild, Habitat for Humanity, Heinzerling Foundation, International Hearing Dogs, Kids 'n' Kamp, WOSU and Wounded Warriors.
