Woman charged with prostitution in Upper Arlington
Upper Arlington police on Monday, Oct. 21 charged a woman with selling sex from her Chateau Circle home.
Lisa Robinson, 40, was charged with one count of felony prostitution after Upper Arlington police and officials from the Franklin County Drug Task Force searched her apartment.
According to an Upper Arlington Police Division press release, law enforcement officials searched the apartment after receiving information from “multiple sources” that prostitution was occurring at the residence.
The release stated Robinson was advertising her services via a website called Backpage.com, and respondents would meet her at the residence where “the illegal activity occurred.”
A call to the Upper Arlington Police Division was not immediately returned Monday. The press release stated “evidence supporting the illegal activity was seized” from Robinson’s apartment.
