CSG invites parents for meetings, tours Dec. 4-5

Columbus School for Girls will host Prospective Parent Coffees from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 and 5, at its campus, 56 S. Columbia Ave, Columbus.

The first session is for parents of girls age 3 to grade five, entering CSG's Program for Young Children and Lower School. The second coffee is for parents of prospective female students entering Middle School or Upper School.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with administrators, view classes in session and tour the school.

For reservations, contact the Office of Admission at 614-252-0781, ext. 310, or jblackburn@columbusschoolforgirls.org.

CSG also has announced the formation of the Alumnae Board Scholarship, a new four-year merit scholarship for rising ninth-grade students. This award will be based solely on academic achievement and potential, and all intellectually motivated eighth-grade students are encouraged to apply.

New applicants should complete the admission process to CSG by Feb. 14, 2014. All rising ninth-grade admission candidates will be considered, so no additional application is required.

Current CSG students also are eligible and will need to complete a short application to be considered.
