Police are investigating the theft of a bore gauge, a device to measure plastics injection molding barrels, from a vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of Doone Road between 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10.
The device is valued at $7,000. Also taken was a hard-shell gun case valued at $100.
According to police, the vehicle was a company-owned one being driven by a man from Batavia, Ohio.
In other Upper Arlington police reports:
• A camera valued at $450, a leather purse valued at $180, $20 in cash and personal papers were reported stolen from an Upper Arlington woman's vehicle while it was parked in the 2100 block of Ridgeview Road between 9 p.m. Nov. 29 and 8 a.m. Nov. 30.
• A Columbus man reported his bicycle, valued at $200, was stolen from in front of the Upper Arlington Public Library, 2800 Tremont Road between 12:10 and 1:24 p.m. Dec. 10.
