Franklin County Probate Court Judge Robert G. Montgomery announced his appointment of Wade Steen, CPA, as the Probate Court appointee to the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. The appointee will serve a five-year term.

Montgomery cited Steen's most recent experience as the first fiscal officer of the Cuyahoga County reform government from 2011-2013 as one of the key reasons for asking him to serve on this voluntary board.

Steen, who lives in Upper Arlington, is president of Productive Capital Management and Public Funds Administrators, divisions of Meeder Investment Management Inc.

Steen is also a former Upper Arlington city councilman, Franklin County treasurer and previously served as the vice chairman of the Franklin County Children Services (FCCS) Board.

He is a graduate of the Ohio State University honors accounting program.
