City trash service delayed due to cold

Frigid temperatures that moved into the area earlier today, Monday, Jan. 6, have forced the delay of some refuse collection services in Upper Arlington.

According to a press release from the city, Upper Arlington’s solid waste services provider, Inland Services Corp., has decided to delay refuse, recycling and yard waste collection by two days.

As a result, homes and businesses in the Jan. 6 collection zone will have their trash collected on Wednesday, Jan. 8, and subsequent collection zones will be pushed back by two days.

Full details for the revised refuse, recycling and yard waste schedules are available on the city’s website at www.uaoh.net/egov/docs/1389014804483.htm.
