The annual Chamber Community Celebration will be a circus this year, and 11 business and community contributors will be honored as part of the sideshow.
The Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual Chamber Community Celebration awards. Voting will run through Feb. 21 and can be completed online through the chamber's website at www.uachamber.org.
Winners of the 11 awards will be announced during the sixth annual Chamber Community Celebration, which will follow a circus theme, Feb. 28 at St. Agatha Church.
The event will open with a Business Showcase from 5 to 7 p.m., which is open to the public. That portion of the program also will include a silent auction and a student art show that will feature work from local public and private school students. Appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar.
"It's a great way to discover how to get involved in your community and celebrate the accomplishments of our local area business leaders and business owners," said Becky Hajost, chamber president.
The showcase will be followed by the awards dinner from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets for the dinner are $50 each or $375 for a table of eight.
"It's a great way to get involved in your community and celebrate what we've done this year, as well as celebrate our businesses," Hajost said.
Additional nominating information is available on the chamber's website, but this year, the following awards will be given:
• 2013 Small Business of the Year
• 2013 Large Business of the Year
• 2013 Corporate Citizen Award
• 2013 Business Image Award
• 2013 Green Award
• 2013 Community Service Award
• 2013 Health and Wellness Award
• 2013 Public Sector Award
• 2013 Outstanding Technology Award
• 2013 W. Arthur Cullman Business Person of the Year Award

Additionally, Hajost said, attendees will have chances to participate in a Jeopardy-themed game show in which they'll answer questions regarding chamber initiatives. The game will include a daily double and a category specific to circus-related facts and historical information.
Reservations can be made and additional information can be found on the chamber's website or by calling 614-481-5710.
