Starting Monday, April 21, Kinnear Road in Upper Arlington will be closed to traffic east of the intersection with North Star and Waltham roads as the city continues preparations for construction of a roundabout.
According to a press release from the city, local traffic on Kinnear Road will still have access from Kenny Road.
The following detours will be in place during this phase of the construction:
For motorists heading west on Kinnear Road into Upper Arlington, detour signs will be posted at the Kenny and Kinnear roads intersection. Traffic will be directed south on Kenny Road to Chambers Road, then west on Chambers Road to Northwest Boulevard, connecting back to North Star Road.
Motorists heading north on Kenny Road will be diverted west on Chambers Road to Northwest Boulevard.
Motorists traveling east on Waltham Road will be detoured south on North Star Road, left on Northwest Boulevard, then left on Chambers Road to Kenny Road.
Drivers traveling south on North Star Road will be diverted south to Northwest Boulevard, left on Northwest, then left again on Chambers Road to Kenny Road and then north to Kinnear.
Drivers traveling north on North Star Road will be detoured right onto Northwest Boulevard, left on Chambers Road to Kenny Road, and then north to Kinnear.
