Freewill offerings will benefit Judge Paul Herbert's CATCH Court to help women trapped in the human trafficking sex trade, and Freedom a la Cart, a catering business employing survivors of human trafficking.
The church also will host a one-time concert by the University of Dubuque (Iowa) Concert Choir at 7:30 p.m. May 20 in the church sanctuary.
The group will perform works by J. S. Bach, Steven Foster, John Rutter and others.
The choir has performed in 38 states and Puerto Rico under the direction of Charles Barland. Barland is director of the University of Dubuque Choir and associate professor of music and head of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at the University of Dubuque.
