Upper Arlington Farmers' Market, 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 24, at the Upper Arlington Senior Center, 1945 Ridgeview Road. Locally produced fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and dairy items will be sold. The event will be held rain or shine.

Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra, 7:30 p.m. Mondays at the Clintonville Woman's Club, 3951 N. High St. Free parking. $10 general admission, $5 for students. Bill Dobbins, professor of jazz studies and contemporary media at the Eastman School of Music, and director of the school's Jazz Ensemble, will be the featured guest July 28. His many commissions have included several exclusively for the Famous Jazz Orchestra, some of which will be performed that night. A concession stand serves light snacks and drinks.

Clintonville Woman's Club, summer lunch series open to the public, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 20, the clubhouse, 3951 N. High St. The luncheon will feature ham loaf with a hot side dish. There are options for entree or salad bar (including beverage, roll and gratuity) to be purchased either separately or in combination. Assorted desserts are $2 each. Carryout is available. Junior League Bargain Box, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at Goodwill Columbus' Grandview-area corporate headquarters, 1331 Edgehill Road, Grandview. In addition to having a new venue for the sale, Junior League's 450 members will also utilize Goodwill's six retail stores in Franklin County to collect Bargain Box donations up the time of the event. Items being collected include linens, towels, pans, baby clothes, toys and purses. Proceeds from the event will support the Junior League's community projects, including the Kelton House Museum and Garden, Adopt-a-Backpack for Children and Kids in the Kitchen. Unsold items will be donated to Goodwill and sold in its retail stores.

AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program assists unemployed Franklin, Delaware and Licking county workers age 55 and over with securing employment. The program offers paid work experience, specialized training, upgrading of skills and job-search assistance. Age, income and residency requirements apply.
