Upper Arlington High School senior pitcher Michael Koltak threw a six-inning no-hitter during a 10-0 victory over Westland on April 23.

The Cougars' only base runner came on a first-inning infield error by the Bears.

Koltak, who is an Ohio State recruit, struck out eight and walked none while helping his team improve to 10-7 overall and 6-3 in the OCC-Central Division. The Cougars dropped to 5-11 overall.

UA led 4-0 before scoring six runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game by run-rule.

Will Marable went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice, a walk and a run scored and Michael Armstrong was 2-for-2 with two runs scored.

It was Koltak's first varsity no-hitter.
