Two Upper Arlington High School football players signed national letters of intent Feb. 6.
Defensive lineman Nick Milo signed with Cornell University, and defensive back Alex Husted signed with Dayton.
Milo, a co-captain this past season, had 53 tackles — 18 solo — six sacks and a fumble recovery for the Golden Bears, who finished 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the OCC-Central Division. Husted had an interception and 22 tackles, 12 solo, and a fumble recovery as a defensive back and also filled multiple roles on offense. As a quarterback early in the season, he was 17-for-32 passing for 227 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Husted also caught four passes for 77 yards and a touchdown.
