Four seniors on the Upper Arlington High School girls swimming and diving team and one senior on the boys team have signed letters of intent to compete in college.
Meghan Wilson signed Feb. 7 with Wright State, a Division I program. Jamie Krupp (Wright State), Betsy Trace (Eastern Michigan) and Elizabeth Weldon (Davidson) of the girls team and Thomas Trace (Ohio State) of the boys team signed with Division I programs during the early signing period in November.
Also for the girls team, senior Julie Dierker has committed to Kenyon, a Division III school.
Last season in the Division I state meet, Thomas Trace placed second in the 50-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100 backstroke, Betsy Trace finished 18th in the 50 free and helped the 200 medley relay place second, Krupp placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke and was on the 200 medley relay, Wilson placed eighth in the 500 free and Weldon was on the 400 free relay that placed second.
