Computer Basics, a 20-hour, one week program presented by New Directions Career Center, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 24-28 at the New Directions Career Center, 199 E. Rich St. The first six hours are underwritten by Connect Ohio; the remaining 14 hours of classroom instruction are supported by a PNC Bank Foundation grant. Participants learn key board basics, how to use a mouse to navigate the desktop, and how to find and apply for available jobs.
