Several Westerville residents received master's of education degrees from Ashland University during May commencement ceremonies. They are: Sue Holdren, Lynnea Knobel, Carol Rackley, Tiffany West and Katy Witt.

Several Westerville residents received master's of education degrees from Ashland University during May commencement ceremonies. They are: Sue Holdren, Lynnea Knobel, Carol Rackley, Tiffany West and Katy Witt.

Master of business degrees were presented to Hiza Kiluwasha, John Mercer, Kelly Penwell and Kevin Wagner.

Jessica Turner of Westerville has been named a recipient of the Vishnu P. and Sudha S. Saksena Award in Conservation Science at Muskingum College. The award recognizes students with outstanding accomplishments in research and scholarship in conservation science.

Westerville resident Claire Horstman has been named to the dean's list for the 2008 spring semester at Bellarmine University. The list recognizes students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average for the semester.

Horstman is an English major.

Case Western Reserve University student Daniel Hull has received the Gardiner Scholarship, given to a junior majoring in economics who is also interested in finance.

The scholarship is awarded by CWRU's Department of Economics.

Hull is a 2005 graduate of Westerville North High School.
