• Sit, Knit, Crochet & Spin Day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Experienced knitters and crocheters ages 14 and older can show their handwork, demonstrate their techniques and enjoy a potluck lunch. Participants should bring a lunch item to share and can come and go throughout the day. No instruction will be offered for beginners. Call Arlene Roeder at 882-7590 with questions.

• "The Tale of Despereaux" will be screened from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2, and "Pinocchio" at 7 p.m. Monday, May 4. Bring blankets, pillows and snacks.

• Write in the Middle, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, May 5 and 19, for students in grades six to nine. Share stories, get pointers and make friends.

• Teen Advisory Board, 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7. Students in grades six through 12 are invited to discuss future programs, plan the Summer Reading Program and help out at the library.

• Learn networking via the Internet and local community in your job search, 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter will be discussed. Registration is required.

• Learn to build a quality résumé and "sell" yourself with appropriate dress, interaction and behavior from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21. Meg Barkhymer of the career center at Otterbein College will be the presenter. Registration is suggested, but not required.

• "COSI Science Spot: Lost Egypt," an interactive exhibit, will be on display May 18-23.

• Use designated computers for job searching and résumé writing from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Monday and Thursday in May. Adult Services staff members will be available to answer basic questions and provide assistance.
