Otterbein College Theatre's production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" opens today and continues May 1 and 2 and May 8 and 9 in the Campus Center Theatre, 100 W. Home St.

Playwright Dale Wasserman's 1963 adaptation of Ken Kesey's 1962 novel tells the story of a fun-loving prison inmate, McMurphy, (Steve Czarnecki), who fakes insanity to spend his sentence in a mental hospital. There he meets the tyrannical Nurse Ratched (Lauren Wertz) and the two become involved in a power struggle that changes their lives and the lives of the other inmates.

Tonight's performance begins at 7:30 p.m.; all other performances begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 each and can be reserved by calling the box office at (614) 823-1109 Monday through Friday from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
